A Little Bit About Me


Buffalo Free-Net Related Activities

I am a former member of the Steering Committee and Board of Directors of the Buffalo Free-Net. I now serve as the Buffalo Free-Net webmaster and technical consultant to the Board of Directors. I am a member of the Technical Support committee and the webmaster of the Disabilities Forum. Additionally, I provide and/or maintain content on several other areas of the Buffalo Free-Net. I am also one of the people responsible for providing member and information provider support. I have run fundraising drives, developed online help resources, written or modified scripting tools and binary programs for use on the Free-Net.

In September of 1998 I created and installed the Buffalo Free-Net's new web pages. The new more modern look was greatly needed and the new organizational structure made navigation of our content easier for all. Special thanks to Herb Mueller for his assistance and development of the member's help and account management pages.

Employment Activities
I do contract programming and website development, design and maintenance at Silverstem Productions, a computing and web design consultation firm.


Microsoft Most Valuable Professional
On October 1st, 2004 I was awarded MVP status by Microsoft in the MSN - Client area.

Windows® XP Associate Expert
Formerly as a ClubWin member I assisted people with the use of Windows and Internet Explorer. I was charter member of both ClubWin and ClubIE formed during the 1995 beta tests of Windows 95. The two groups were merged into one under the ClubWin banner in recognition of the integration of the browser into the operating system.
